  42. The Mac Software Monitor is an important newsletter devoted to understanding
  43. System 7.0. There are many new features in System 7.0 that are not fully
  44. understood by the average Macintosh user. Anyone who needs to know more about
  45. System 7.0 will find The Mac Software Monitor to be a practical, easy-to-read
  46. source that gives sound advice and timely information about the new system
  47. software.

  50. releases. Instead of relying on mailings from the software companies and
  51. word-of-mouth, readers can simply turn to our Update Alert column to find out
  52. if their software has been updated. Subsequent issues of the Mac Software

  75. Mac Software Registry was a System 7.0 beta-test site from March, 1990 until
  76. the release of the “Golden Master” in May, 1991. This enabled the company to
  77. gain over a year’s experience with System 7.0. In October 1990, Apple Computer,
  78. Inc. invited Rob Getlan, President of the Mac Software Registry, to attend a
  79. conference on System 7.0. Here, Rob joined 15 other Macintosh consultants in
  80. advising Apple in Macintosh user needs, demands, and problems.
